Greetings, everyone! I’m Nirupam Konwar, an accomplished watercolour artist hailing from India with an international presence. Honored as the brand ambassador for esteemed Russian company, Nevaskaya Palitra. My professional journey extends to being a concept artist, contributing to various Bollywood and Hollywood productions.

In addition to my cinematic endeavours, I conduct art courses, workshops, and demos in European countries and India. My involvement in international watercolour events reflects my commitment to the global art community. My primary artistic objective is to infuse drama into paintings, employing the ‘Wet on Wet’ (Alla Prima) technique. I specialize in creating a misty ambience in the background to evoke a dramatic essence, and incorporating textures at different levels is a key facet of my methodology.

The essence of my courses lies in introducing participants to specific watercolour techniques, encompassing both basic and advanced levels. These techniques aim to instil confidence in the artists, acting as wellsprings of inspiration and creativity. Mastering the art requires careful demonstration and monitoring at each stage, emphasizing the importance of focusing on techniques for successful realization.

I derive immense joy from breathing life into landscapes on my painting panel, fueled by my imagination and creativity. In terms of colour, I personally favour a limited palette, skillfully combining warm and cool hues.
